About The Friends of PQ Park
The Friends of PQ Park, Inc., is a non-profit organization formed in 2017, following the successful recommendation of funding for the revitalization of PQ Park by Belmont's Community Preservation Committee. The mission of Friends of PQ Park is to advise the Town of Belmont on matters concerning the use, care, expansion, improvement, and maintenance of the park, to assist in the preservation and improvements of the land, playground, plantings, pathways, and other components of the park furthering recreation and enjoyment of the park, and to educate the public and promote the values and ideas upon which community parks depend, as may be carried out by a corporation organized under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 180 and described in Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.
The Board Members are Julie S. Crockett (President), Ogden R. Sawyer (Treasurer), Alice F. Goodrich (Clerk), Rose E. O'Neil, Edward C. Sanderson, III, David M. Beavers, and Jean G. Cabral.
